To begin: a reminder that we are back to being a Mainstream club, with just one Plus tip at every dance. Please tell your Mainstream friends about us. We welcome all new graduates and all Mainstream dancers.
Another reminder is that Mary Pickett does a 30-minute Phase IV round dance workshop before all of our dances. Mary is willing to review the steps and/or dances that you might need help with. The fee for the workshop is $3 (separate from the dance admission fee). We hope that everyone will enjoy this new format. Our new class is off to a great start with our new class coordinator and first vice president, Sunny Kordower. The students are moving along nicely and having lots of fun. In addition to attending square dances, Terry and George Seibert have attended or will attend round dance events at Cherry Ridge in Pennsylvania, Purdue University in Indiana, the Masquerade Costume Ball in College Park, Maryland, the International Choreographers Dance Association in Lakeland, Florida, and Greensboro, North Carolina. A number of our dancers attended the Tumbling Leaves Festival in Vermont and the Harvest Moon Classic here in New Jersey.
